Equity + Health Fellowship

In 2017, RMHF conducted a unique program in which 18 Equity + Health Fellows – representing leaders from the public and nonprofit sectors – were tasked with developing an agenda recommending strategies to address the social, economic, and structural conditions contributing to poor health outcomes. Twelve Recently named 2018 Fellows will focus on grassroots neighborhood and community-based efforts to affect Equity + Health.

Priorities

Health Equity and Arts (HEArts) Program

Richmond Memorial Health Foundation (RMHF) recently invited non-profit organizations working with artists of their choice to apply for grants to support artists’ participation using various forms of art and creative expression to engage community residents. The engagement efforts are intended to lift up community voice and perspective to foster creative solutions for achieving health and/or housing equity.
