Bon Secours Richmond Health System $500,000 to support capital expenses associated with constructing and equipping a Residential Community Hospice House.


Community Investments

East District Family Resources Center  $160,000 over two years to support the Youth Health Equity Leadership Institute to help 60-80 middle and high school students enhance their leadership qualities, address health issues, and provide the opportunity to become leaders in their homes, schools and community.

Metropolitan Richmond Sports Backers $300,000 over three years to establish a coordinated Bike/Walk initiative across Richmond and Central Virginia.

RMHF Community Benefit Pool $14,380 to support special events or other short term programs related to RMHF strategic priorities.

Virginia Association of Free and Charitable Clinics $47,500 over one year to assist free clinics across Virginia to evaluate current business models in order to remain relevant and flexible in an environment of change and respond to healthcare reform.

GeoHealth Innovations $200,000 over one year to support the build out of an enhanced and expanded Virginia Atlas of Community Health.

Community Investments

Community Foundation Serving Richmond and Central Virginia $4,000 to support an economic impact study of Virginia’s nonprofit organizations by Johns Hopkins University and coordinated by Virginia Commonwealth University.

MDC $10,000 to support a feasibility study for establishing a Virginia Benefit Bank.

Partnership for Nonprofit Excellence $225,000 over three years to support HandsOn Greater Richmond, ConnectVA, Nonprofit Learning Point, Organizational Solutions and general administration.

VCU Performance Management Group $20,000 over one year to research and compile a report of community assets, resources and initiatives in Richmond’s East End 7th District.

RMHF Community Benefit Pool $19,485 to support special events or other short term programs related to RMHF strategic priorities.

Richmond Public School Education Foundation & Richmond City Health District  $28,375 over two years to support the Richmond Campaign to Prevent Teen Pregnancy by reintroducing the Community of Caring Program to elementary, middle and high school students in the Armstrong High School Zone.

RMHF Community Benefit Pool $14,325 to support special events or other short term programs related to RMHF strategic priorities, Trustees or Staff.

Better Housing Coalition $10,000 over one year for the Richmond Promise Neighborhood planning grant.

Community Foundation Serving Richmond and Central Virginia $30,000 over three years to support GiveRichmond.

Communities in Schools $75,000 to support Richmond Promise Neighborhood’s efforts addressing health and healthcare related priorities confronting children in Richmond’s East End.
