The 2017 Equity + Health Fellows developed an agenda to inform our investments and recommended strategies to address the social, economic, and structural conditions contributing to poor health outcomes. The 2018 Equity + Health Fellows are focused on grassroots neighborhood and community-based efforts to create a healthier and more equitable Richmond region.
The HEArts: Equity in Action! program will be an integral part of our work to promote health equity and increase awareness about the critical need for quality, safe, affordable housing for all people who call the region home. We will fund projects that facilitate collaboration between non-profit organizations and artists working as communicators and community activists in the pursuit of health and/or housing equity.
