We announced in April that we are deepening our support of partners doing behavioral health work. The COVID-19 pandemic has exposed significant gaps in access to behavioral health services in our community. As we begin the important work of healing from the pandemic, including harm to behavioral health and overall wellbeing of our most vulnerable community members, RMHF is reaffirming and continuing this commitment through our Access to Behavioral Health grants.
The RMHF Trustees approved eight organizations as recipients of Access to Behavioral Health grants for fiscal year 2022, with funding totaling $266,000. This marks the second year of funding for these organizations during a time in which their services are critical to our community’s recovery and to health equity in the Richmond region.
Meet our eight grantee partners advancing behavioral health equity and access to services that are helping lay the foundation of our community’s long-term recovery.
