On Thursday, December 3rd, we co-hosted a national webinar with the CDC Foundation. A diverse panel of speakers, including Dr. Judy Monroe, President and CEO of the CDC Foundation, and our regional health department leaders, shared how we have collaborated to respond to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on our Hispanic, Latino and undocumented community.
The CDC Foundation provided an initial investment to support efforts in the Richmond region and is lifting up the collaboration as a model for other cities, targeted populations and community initiatives. The Community Foundation for a greater Richmond has contributed $100,000 to the effort and played an integral role in highlighting and communicating the importance of this work.
